The People Behind Beautiful Life

Karen Davis, Executive Director, President of Governing Board

Karen is a faith-driven leader with a heart for restoration and a background in corporate training, insurance, and community development. As Executive Director and Co-Founder of Beautiful Life Recovery House, she brings over 20 years of experience in mentoring, facilitation, and leadership development—including her work as a Master Trainer and creator of a corporate mentoring program that empowered employees to grow personally and professionally.

Karen is also Co-Owner of 1 Source Insurance Advisors, where she educates small business clients on risk management, coverage options, and renewal strategies. Her ability to build trust and communicate with clarity has made her a valued partner to business owners across the region. She serves as an Ambassador for the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of Southwest Arkansas Partnership (SWAP), where she helps foster collaboration and regional impact.

Karen’s mission is deeply personal. Having walked alongside a loved one through addiction, she understands the emotional toll and the strength it takes to rebuild. That experience fuels her passion for creating safe, faith-based spaces where women and children can heal, grow, and rediscover their worth.   Karen is a mother to a daughter who is studying to become a adolescent counselor, so she can also help those in need.

Her vision for Beautiful Life Recovery House is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that recovery must address the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Through transitional housing and holistic support, Karen is helping lay the foundation for lasting transformation. Her leadership reflects God’s love in action: strategic, empathetic, and unwavering in its commitment to hope.

Michelle Auld APRN-CNP, Governing Board Member and Medical Director

Michelle is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health, with over nine years of experience in family medicine. From the start of her career, she has always felt called to serve others, and that calling continues to guide everything she does. Michelle's compassion for women and the struggles they face — whether in balancing work and family or overcoming trauma and abuse — inspired her to further her education and expand her ability to care for both physical and mental health needs.

Michelle was raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and she is a proud mother of two. Through her personal and professional experiences, Michelle has gained a deep understanding of the challenges women often carry — navigating careers, relationships, motherhood, and healing. Michelle believes empathy, education, and community are essential parts of meaningful recovery and growth.

Beautiful Life Recovery House represents an extension of that belief. It’s a mission close to Michelle's heart — one that reflects the power of community support and the importance of helping women rebuild their lives with dignity, strength, and hope.

Heather Carroll, Vice President of the Governing Board

Born and raised with a love for creativity, good food, and helping people succeed, Heather has built her life around connection and purpose. Heather is a proud single mom to her wonderful daughter, Hannah, who recently got married and began her own new adventure in life. Watching her grow into the amazing woman she’s become has been Heather's greatest joy.

Professionally, Heather has built her career as a vendor sales representative, and over time, her passion for creativity led her in a new direction—helping clients market their businesses through custom logos, embroidered apparel, and creative promotional materials. Heather loves combining her business experience with her creative side to bring people’s ideas and brands to life.

When Heather is not working, you’ll usually find her in the kitchen trying new recipes or at her embroidery machine, bringing a design to life stitch by stitch. Heather believes in hard work, creativity, and attention to detail, and she brings that same dedication to everything she does—both personally and professionally. Heather is also proud to serve as an Ambassador for the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, where she enjoys connecting with local businesses and helping our community thrive.

Heather's heart for community is also what draws me to support Beautiful Life Recovery House—a new nonprofit with a mission to walk alongside women and their children during times of crisis. Their holistic approach to healing—supporting physical, mental, and spiritual needs—deeply resonates with Heather. She believes every woman deserves access to safety, dignity, and the resources needed to rebuild. Being involved allows Heather to give back in a meaningful way, helping offer strength, hope, and a path forward to those who need it most.

Reagan Jones, Treasurer of the Governing Board

With nearly 20 years of experience in customer service, Reagan's career began in cosmetology, where she discovered a passion for building relationships, earning trust, and helping others feel confident and supported. That foundation eventually led Reagan into banking, where she found a deep love for finance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.

Today, Reagan serves as the Regional Retail Manager for the South locations at Chambers Bank, where she is passionate not only about helping customers achieve financial success, but also about developing and leading her team to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers. Seeing team members gain confidence, reach new milestones, and step into leadership themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of her role.

Outside of Reagan's professional life, she is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter who inspires her every day. Reagan is deeply committed to giving back to the community she serves, with a special focus on supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction. Having witnessed firsthand how addiction affects not just the individual but entire families, Reagan strongly believes in doing whatever she can to help, support, and prevent others from facing the same struggles.
